Welcome to the Disclaimer Page: The “Are You Sure You’re Mad?” Section
Before we go any further, let’s get a few things straight. The thoughts expressed on any of my websites and my various social media outposts are mine and mine alone. They are not, I repeat, not the opinions of my employer (current or past). My employers pay for my professional expertise, not my late-night musings on the state of the world or why pineapple on pizza is a culinary crime (or a stroke of genius, depending on the day).
On The Art of Not Being Offended
I operate on a simple principle: free speech should be a two-way street, paved with mutual respect and solid facts. We live in an age where everyone seems to be perpetually offended. It must be exhausting.
My posts, comments, and remarks are designed to make you think, not to make you angry. If you feel a wave of indignation washing over you, I invite you to pause, take a sip of your favorite beverage, and consider the possibility that the world is complex. If you still feel the need to unleash a tirade, my Twitter/X handle is just a click away.
This is a “cancel culture” pushback zone. We discuss, we debate, we disagree. We don’t try to destroy people for having an opinion. Let’s aim to be adults about this.
The Necessary Fine Print
- Comments & Contributions: Comments left by visitors are their own, and I don’t endorse them. I do, however, reserve the right to delete comments that are spammy, hateful, or just plain boring.
- Accuracy & Liability: I provide content for informational and entertainment purposes. I’m not a certified expert in everything, so I can’t guarantee the absolute accuracy or completeness of everything you read. Any action you take based on the information here is your own responsibility. Use your critical thinking skills—they’re free!
- Likes & Shares Are Not Endorsements: A repost, like, or share on any social media platform is not necessarily an endorsement. It can be a bookmark for later, a point of contention, or simply an acknowledgment that something exists. Interpretation is up to you.
- Content & Copyright: I strive to respect intellectual property. If you believe I have inadvertently used your protected work without permission, please contact me directly so I can address it with a takedown or proper attribution.
